My two beautiful angels

Camryn and Payton were angels in the school Christmas play this year. Payton's class decorated t-shirts and made halo's out of silver garland. It was fitting that Payton's halo was hanging off to the side and as soon as she got on stage she immediately took off the wings and began waving at everyone.

Camryn on the other hand was beautiful. We were responsible for getting an angel costume for her. We went to the store looking for a white dress and believe it or not could not find one anywhere. We looked in the toy section hoping to find a white princess dress or angel costume there, but again struck out. Finally we found a beautiful white dress that I thought came with angel wings. Unfortunately only the purple fairy dress came with wings and the white one we later found out came with a little button that when you pushed it made the dress light up and change colors from red, to green, to blue, to purple to yellow! Wow! Well we went to the party store and found wings and a halo and instructed Camryn that the lights were pretty but for the play she couldn't push the button and turn the dress on. She did pretty good at first, but about half way through the play all the people started going Oh, Wow!, and Ah! and to my surprise I look over at Camryn and with a big smile on her face she is standing there with her dress lighting up. Obviously she stole the show. Later I found out that her teacher had okayed it after they had sung there song, but she was so proud of herself! She did look absolutely beautiful though.
